The 49th session of the Arab Labor Conference saw the election of Ahmed Al-Mashaiti, Head of International Relations at the Libyan Social Security Fund, as Chairman of the Technical Committee on Social Security. This announcement was made on May 27th, 2023, by the Technical Committee for Social Security emanating from the Arab Labor Conference.
Al-Mashaiti expressed his gratitude for the election and stated that there is a growing interest among conference attendees to learn from the Libyan Social Security Fund’s development and success. This comes after the institution achieved 8 international certificates of merit on the African continent.
In addition, Al-Mashaiti shared that his recommendations, which were submitted to the General Committee, have been approved after gaining the support of the members.
